 DAY 1 – KUCHING – TUBA LONGHOUSE (L/D)

Depart hotel by 4WD / van then proceed to the Semenggoh Orangutan to observe the semi-wild orangutans during feeding time. Over 20 rehabilitated and locally born orangutans roam this forest reserve and many still return for extra feeding at the stations. Continue to Tuba Longhouse which will see half the journey taken through hilly, gravel roads. The journey from Kuching will pass the market town of Serian and also several rubber, cocoa, and pepper plantations. Journey off road using a 4WD vehicle to Tuba Longhouse ( 2 hour driving from Pantu Town ) Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the longhouse chief before exploring the surrounding area of the village. In the evening, a traditional Iban style dinner will be served in the Headman's room, enjoy a night walk in search of any nocturnal activity followed by an evening of native dances, merrymaking, and socializing with your Iban hosts. Retire to bed.

DAY 2 – TUBA LONGHOUSE – JUNGLE CAMP (L/D)

After breakfast, trek 2 hours through a variety of different rainforest vegetation (Kerangas, Dipterocarp, Bamboo). If you’re lucky, Hornbill, mouse deer, sun bear and pangolin can be spotted along this trail. Once you arrive you will instantly want to jump in the jungle pools. Spend the afternoon exploring the rainforest. After dinner go on a night walk in search of weird and wonderful snakes, lizards and frogs, maybe slow loris and tarsier if you’re lucky!. Retire to bed listening to the natural sounds of the jungle.

DAY 3 – JUNGLE CAMP – KUCHING (B/L)

Wake up early and go in search of helmeted hornbills, bushy crested hornbills and other species of bird. Head back to the camp for breakfast and enjoy the rest of the morning by the waterfall. After a BBQ lunch, you will depart back to Kuching. You will arrive Kuching at around 5.00 – 6.00pm

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Rates quoted strictly for minimum number of persons as per request above, if less or any reduce no of person the rate will be different.
2. This is only a quotation. No reservation has been made until we receive your written acceptance of the quotation and deposit to secure the quotation rates.
3. Price is subject to any surcharge including peak season surcharge / weekend / public holiday surcharge.
4. Confirmation is subject to availability of both hotels / land transfer arrangements.
5. Deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation and final payment to be paid in full one month before arrival.
6. Change of travel date is allowed and must be made 2 weeks prior to check-in date and is subject to room availability.

8. Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time by written notice by the person who made the booking.
9. Please note the following:

If notice of cancellation is received by Star Travel more than 30 days prior to the guided holiday departure date, 20% will be retained along for Star Travel’s Cancellation Fee Waiver payment.

1. If full payment is not received one month prior to arrival date, Star Travel has the right to cancel your reservation. Star Travel will not be responsible for lost reservations.
2. If a person in a party cancel and there is a room change caused by this cancellation (such as Twin to Single), charges for the new room type will be the responsibility of the remaining party.

Illness or Absence

Early return expenses are the guest’s responsibility. There is no refund for absence or early departure from a guided holiday.
