DAY 1 – MIRI – JEVINDA VILLAGE STAY, LONG SAN (L/D)

Early morning, meet and greet at your hotel and start your adventure journey by 4WD to Upper Ulu Baram. The drive takes approximately 5 hours to reach Jevinda Village Stay. Short stop at Lapok Town for toilet break and self-exploring the surrounding area before continuing along logging road to upper Baram. Starting from here you will see the scenic view of green mountain and forest. Late lunch at Kilometer 10, Samling base camp – Kilo 10 Café. After lunch, continue our drive to Long San (approximately another 1 ½hrs). Have a few stops for a scenic view of green mountain and limestone. Arrive at Jevinda Village Stay and check-in. Free at leisure, explore the Long San Village surrounding area. Dinner and overnight at Jevinda Village Stay.

DAY 2 – EXPLORE KELUAN WATERFALL (B/L/D)

After breakfast, a short brief by the local guide. The drive from Jevinda Village Stay to the Long Keluan junction will take approximately 30-minute drive and plus another 15 minutes on rough road (unmaintained old logging road). Reach an inaccessible road and start your hiking and trekking to the waterfall. The hiking will take approximately 1½ - 2 hours depending on your fitness. The trail is on an old logging road, some parts will be steeply ascending and descending the hills. The trail is exposed to the sunlight. Please bring extra drinking water and do not forget to put on your sunblock. Crossing Keluan river to see the 3-sister waterfall. Enjoy the Keluan Waterfall, Swim and take photos. Packed lunch will be served before trekking back to the starting point. Drive back to Jevinda Village Stay, free at leisure, dinner & overnight.

DAY 3 – BOAT RIDE TO LONG AKAH FORT – 4WD TO LONG SELA’AN (B/L/D)

After breakfast take a 2 to 3-minute boat ride to Long Akah Fort for sightseeing only then continue again our boat ride to one of the Penan villages called Long Liwek or Long Beku to witness the making of handmade machete. Please bring some cash, should you be interested in buying some machetes as your memorable experience. Boat ride back return to Jevinda Village Stay and check out before departing by 4wd to Long Sela'an. The drive will take approximately 2 hours. Along the way, a short stop at Lio Seka Bridge (aka Long San Bridge). The bridge crossing the mighty Baram River. Continue driving & short stop for lunch at Segah Sela’an Homestay Café. After Lunch, continue to drive to Sawa Ali the Penan settlement to witness the making of the best quality rattan base handicraft, blowpipe & learning on the way of their life. Please bring cash should you be interested in buying a souvenir. Bid farewell with the community & then continue 4wd again to reach Sela'an jetty (approximately another 45 minute). Take a 30-minute boat ride to Long Moh for sightseeing & free to explore the village surrounding area. After that, boat ride to Long Sela’ an Homestay for check-in. After dinner learn & witness the Kenyah cultural performance by the performer from Long Sela’an Longhouse. The performance includes The Kenyah Traditional Long Dance (Women), Single Traditional Dance (Men), Single Traditional Dance (Women), Sape Player, Kenyah Traditional Song (“Belian”). After all the shows, you are free to join the open dance led by the performer.

DAY 4 – RETURN TO MIRI CITY (B/L)

After breakfast, free at leisure. Bid farewell with your host & take a boat ride back to Sela'an Jetty. Then take 4wd back to Miri. The drive will take approximately 7 hours. Lunch at Kilometer 10 cafe & transfer to your

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Rates quoted strictly for minimum number of persons as per request above, if less or any reduce no of person the rate will be different.
2. This is only a quotation. No reservation has been made until we receive your written acceptance of the quotation and deposit to secure the quotation rates.
3. Price is subject to any surcharge including peak season surcharge / weekend / public holiday surcharge.
4. Confirmation is subject to availability of both hotels / land transfer arrangements.
5. Deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation and final payment to be paid in full one month before arrival.
6. Change of travel date is allowed and must be made 2 weeks prior to check-in date and is subject to room availability.

8. Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time by written notice by the person who made the booking.
9. Please note the following:

If notice of cancellation is received by Star Travel more than 30 days prior to the guided holiday departure date, 20% will be retained along for Star Travel’s Cancellation Fee Waiver payment.

1. If full payment is not received one month prior to arrival date, Star Travel has the right to cancel your reservation. Star Travel will not be responsible for lost reservations.
2. If a person in a party cancel and there is a room change caused by this cancellation (such as Twin to Single), charges for the new room type will be the responsibility of the remaining party.

Illness or Absence

Early return expenses are the guest’s responsibility. There is no refund for absence or early departure from a guided holiday.
