DAY 1 MEET ON ARRIVAL / CITY TOUR AND TRANSFER TO HOTEL (D)

Meet and assist upon arrival at KKIA, proceed for a tour of the city with a scenic drive through its capital, Kota Kinabalu City. The city, formerly known as "Singgahmata" or "the Place where the Eye Lingers", has risen from the destruction of the last world war to become a vibrant and modern city that still retains its traditional charms. See many places of interests in the city centre such as the Wisma Tun Mustapha (Sabah Foundation Building), University Malaysia Sabah, Sabah State and City Mosque and the Sabah Museum for the historical and cultural aspects of the indigenous people. Transfer to hotel/resort for check in. Evening, transfer for dinner at a local restaurant enhance with cultural dance. Overnight at city hotel/resort.

DAY 2 SAPI ISLAND EXCURSION                                                           (B/L/D) 

0900hr- Pick up from hotel lobby and transfer to jetty.
0930hr - Board boat for about 10-15minutes to Sapi Island. Sapi is popularly known of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park’s Island being the popular for snorkeling. Spend the day for your own leisure: swimming, snorkeling and just laze yourself or suntan at the white sandy beach. Short and simple trails are available for your own option if you wish. A sumptuous BBQ will be served for you to enjoy your lunch on the island. After lunch, continue your free leisure.
1500hr- Standby at the island jetty for departure. Note: Recommended items to bring: insect repellent, drinking water, hat, sun block, camera or video, swim wear, towel and good walking shoes or sandals. ransfer for dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at city hotel/resort

DAY 3 MARI – MARI CULTURAL VILLAGE [B/L/D]

The village is located about 25 minutes away from the city. Journey will take you to long roads surrounded by a rich spectrum of greenery and overarched by wild blue skies. In the village, the colors of cultural diversity are not an issue but rather our pride, where you can savor the soul of Sabah. Upon arrival at the entrance of the village, you will be ushered to the warmth of different homes of the ethnicities of Sabah. Each home was built by descendants of the tribes they represent and offer you a truly genuine experience seeing everything in and around the village lends to its magical powers of taking you back in time. Not only does this village portray these tribes through the architectural genius of their traditional houses, but also through a range of simulated lives of the olden epoch by the residents of the village. Acquaint yourself with each tribe as they let you come into their house and their simple yet intricate lives. Evening, transfer for dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at city hotel/resort

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Rates quoted strictly for minimum number of persons as per request above, if less or any reduce no of person the rate will be different.
  2. This is only a quotation, no reservation has been made until we receive your written acceptance of the quotation and deposit to secure the quotation rates.
  3. Price is subject to any surcharge including peak season surcharge / weekend / public holiday surcharge.
  4. Confirmation is subject to availability of both hotels / land transfer arrangements.
  5. Deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation and final payment to be paid in full one month before arrival.
  6. Change of travel date is allowed and has to be made 2 weeks prior to check-in date and is subject to room availability.
  7. Cancellation procedure:
  8. Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time by written notice by the person who made the booking.
  9. Please note the following:

If notice of cancellation is received by Star Travel more than 30 days prior to the guided holiday departure date, 20% will be retained along for Star Travel’s Cancellation Fee Waiver payment.

  1. If full payment is not received one month prior to arrival date, Star Travel has the right to cancel your reservation. Star Travel will not be responsible for lost reservations.
  2. If a person in a party cancels and there is a room change caused by this cancellation (such as Twin to Single), charges for the new room type will be the responsibility of the remaining party.
