Overview
This 9-day tour of Turkey begins with your arrival in Istanbul, where you’ll explore key highlights such as the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, and the Grand Bazaar. Optional visits include the Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, showcasing the city’s rich history. From Istanbul, you’ll fly to Ankara to visit the Hittite Museum and Atatürk Mausoleum before traveling to the magical landscapes of Cappadocia. Here, you can take an optional hot air balloon ride over the unique terrain, followed by visits to the Göreme Open-Air Museum and underground cities.
The tour continues to Pamukkale, where you’ll explore the ancient city of Hierapolis and its famous calcium terraces, before heading to Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Roman cities. You’ll also visit the legendary site of Troy and Pergamum. The journey concludes with a stop in Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, before returning to Istanbul for your departure. This itinerary offers a blend of historical landmarks, natural wonders, and vibrant culture, providing a comprehensive experience of Turkey’s diverse heritage.

Day 1 – Friday: Istanbul
- Following our arrival in Istanbul, meet with our representative at the airport and transferred to hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Saturday: Istanbul (Breakfast)
- After breakfast we set off on a full day of sightseeing in Istanbul.
- Start with a visit to the renewed Sultanahmet Mosque, known popularly as The Blue Mosque an incredibly beautiful mosque known for its blue Iznik (Nicaea) tiles are unique for the fact that it has six minarets.
- Continue on to the Hippodrome once the vast arena that functioned as the heart of sporting (chariots races and athletics) events and political activities of the old city.
- The tour will end with the visit to the Grand Bazaar, the vast and legendary covered market that is the biggest souk in the world with nearly 4000 shops of antiques, jewelry and carpets.
Day 3 – Sunday: Istanbul / Ankara / Cappadocia (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Tour starts in the morning from the Hotel or from the airport by flight TK2108 08:00-09:20.
- Visit the Hittite Museum and Mausoleum of Atatürk.
- After lunch drive to Cappadocia.
- Dinner & overnight.
Day 4 – Monday: Cappadocia (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Optional Hot Air Balloon Flight ,this is truly a once in a life time experience and there is no better way to see the distinctive landscapes of Cappadocia than by gently floating overhead in a hot air balloon. We guarantee the departure as long as the weather allows.
- Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the Underground city of Özkonak & Citadel of Uçhisar.
- After lunch continue with the valley of “Göreme” & Open-air museum.
- The last sites will be Pigeon Valley and Avanos.
- Return to hotel for dinner & overnight.
Day 5 – Tuesday: Cappadocia / Konya / Pamukkale (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Early departure for Pamukkale.
- On the way visit the 13th century Seljukian caravanserai “Sultanhan”.
- Lunch enroute and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis.
- The ruins of the biggest Necropolis Graveyard of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Basilica and calcium cliffs drive to Pamukkale Hotel.
Day 6 – Wednesday: Pamukkale / Kusadasi / Izmir (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast drive to Meryemana and visit House of Virgin Mary.
- After lunch Continue to Ephesus, the Romen Capital of Asia Minor.
- Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the Temple of Hadrian, the magnificient library, Agora and fantastic greco-roman theatre.
- Dinner and overnight at hotel in Izmir.
Day 7 – Thursday: Izmir – Pergamon / Canakkale (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
- Early departure for Pergamum.
- After lunch visits of Asklepion.
- Continue for Troy.
- The legendary town in the iliad of Homeros, visit the Athena temple.
- Drive to Çanakkale, dinner and overnight.
Day 8 – Friday: Canakkale / Bursa / Istanbul (Breakfast/Lunch)
- After breakfast in the morning and drive to İstanbul via Bursa, which is the first capital city of the Ottoman Empire.
- Bursa is know by its mosques, thermal Turkish Baths and its production of silk.
- Visit Green Mosque of Bursa and museum.
- Visit silk bazaar and continue with lunch.
- After lunch drive to İstanbul arrive to your hotel in afternoon.
Day 9 – Saturday: Istanbul (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, we drive to Istanbul Airport for our departure flight back home.
