Overview
This 11-day tour of Sri Lanka offers a blend of cultural exploration, natural beauty, and relaxation. The journey begins in Negombo and takes you through historic cities like Jaffna, Anuradhapura, and Trincomalee, where you’ll visit ancient temples, forts, and hot springs. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Negombo
- Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, you will be greeted by a local representative.
- You will then be escorted to an air-conditioned vehicle.
- Proceed to Negombo.
- Check into the hotel and relax.
Day 2: Negombo – Jaffna (Distance: Approx. 372kms – 7hrs drive) (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Then proceed to visit Chilaw and Visit Muneshwaram Temple.
- On arrival in Jaffna, visit Jaffna Fort.
- After that check in to hotel and relax.
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: Jaffna (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit Nagapoosami Temple, followed by Nallur Temple and Keerimalai Naguleswaram Temple (also known as Keerimalai Naguleswaram Kovil).
- After that proceed to visit Maviddapuram Murugan Temple.

Day 4: Jaffna – Anuradhapura (Distance: Approx. 196kms – 4 hrs drive) (Breakfast/Dinner)

- Then on the completion check in to the hotel and relax.

Day 5: Anuradhapura – Trincomalee (Distance: Approx. 107kms – 2 hrs drive) (Breakfast/Dinner)

- Proceed to Trincomalee.
- On the arrival, visit Koneswaram Temple (also known as the Thirukonamamalai Konesar Kovil, the Temple of Thousand Pillars and Thiru-Konamamalai Maccakeswaram Kovil).
- Right after that, proceed to visit Kanniya Hot Springs.

Day 6: Trincomalee – Matale (Distance: Approx. 154kms – 3 hrs drive) – Kandy (Distance: Approx. 25kms – 55 mins drive) (Breakfast/Dinner)

- Visit the Spice Garden in Matale.
- On arrival in Kandy, explore the city of Kandy.

Day 7: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (Distance: Approx. 97kms – 2.5 hrs drive) (Breakfast/Dinner)

- En route visit the Ramboda Falls.
- Visit Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple.
- Once in the tea factory, you would generally start out in the plantation itself to learn about how tea is cultivated, then visit the factory where ancient machines pre-dating the industrial revolution wither, roll and dry the tea.
- Next proceed to the City View of Nuwara Eliya.
- Check into the hotel and relax.

Day 8: Nuwara Eliya – Kataragama (Distance: Approx. 142kms – 3.5 hrs drive) (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Proceed to Kataragama.
- En route visit Seetha Amman Temple.
- Then proceed to visit Rawana Ella Cave.
- After that, head to Murugan Temple.
- The annual procession held in July or August is the main event of the shrine with fire walkers and Kawadi dancers.
