Overview
Upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel, where you can rest and refresh. In the afternoon, embark on a city tour, visiting Ulaanbaatar’s Central Square and the Chinggis Khaan Museum, followed by a traditional art performance and a welcome dinner to kick off your journey. After dinner, enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.
The next day, after breakfast, you will travel to Karakorum, the historic capital of the Mongolian Empire. There, you will visit the Local Museum and the Erdene Zuu Monastery, one of Mongolia’s most significant religious landmarks. You will stay overnight at Munkh-Tenger Ger Camp, offering a traditional ger experience.
The journey continues to Orkhon Valley, where after breakfast, you will embark on a two-hour hike to enjoy the stunning landscapes of the valley and Orkhon River. During the day, you will visit a nomadic family and experience their warm hospitality. Your overnight stay will be at the Blue Sky Ger Camp, surrounded by breathtaking views.
After breakfast, you will depart from Orkhon Valley and travel to the ancient Ongi Temple ruins, where you will take a walk through the historic area in the late afternoon. You will spend the night at the Secret of the Ongi Ger Camp, a peaceful location nestled amidst the ruins.
The adventure leads you to Bayanzag, known for its saksaul forest and the famous Flaming Cliffs, which are awe-inspiring formations shaped by thousands of years of erosion. You will explore the cliffs on foot and stay overnight at Mongolian Gobi Ger Camp.
Next, after breakfast, you will travel to the Khongor Sand Dunes, also known as the Singing Sand Dunes. There, you can enjoy a short hike and climb the golden dunes, followed by an hour of camel riding. The night will be spent at Gobi Erdene Ger Camp, a tranquil setting amid the vast desert.
Yol Valley awaits the following day, where you will hike through the picturesque Lammergeier’s Gorge, known for its rich wildlife and stunning vistas. A visit to a small local museum adds insight into the region. Your overnight stay will be at Gobi Mirage Ger Camp, offering more breathtaking views.
You will then travel to Tsagaan Suvarga, a spectacular area featuring white limestone formations created over millennia by the natural forces of wind and erosion. A two-hour hike through this otherworldly landscape will be a highlight of the day, followed by an overnight stay at Tsagaan Suvarga Ger Camp.
Baga Gazriin Chuluu is next on your itinerary, a beautiful granite mountain situated in Mongolia’s Granite Belt. You will have the chance to explore the area, taking in the picturesque rocky landscape with a 2-3 hour hike. Your night will be spent at Erdene Ukhaa Ger Camp, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
You will then travel to Terelj National Park, a place of natural wonder where you will visit the iconic Turtle Rock and enjoy a scenic hike through the park’s breathtaking landscapes. You will stay overnight at Terelj Lodge Ger Camp, a peaceful retreat amidst the beauty of the park.
As you near the end of your tour, you will visit the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex in Tsonjin Boldog. You’ll have the chance to visit the museum and take in panoramic views from the top deck of the statue. Afterward, return to Ulaanbaatar for shopping and a farewell dinner before spending your last night in the city.
On your final day, after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure, marking the end of an unforgettable journey through the treasures of the steppe.

Day 1: Arrival Ulaanbaatar (Lunch/Dinner)
- Upon arrival at the Ulaanbaatar airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
- After checking in and freshening up, take some time to rest and relax.
- Embark on a city sightseeing tour of Ulaanbaatar.
- Visit to the Central square, Chinggis Khaan Museum.

Day 2: Karakorum (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Day 5: Bayanzag (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and depart to Bayanzag.
- Here you will see saksaul forest in the Gobi-desert and red flaming cliffs, which formed by the erosion of the sand and rock over many thousands of years.

Day 6: Khongor Sand Dunes (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to to Khongor Sand Dunes, also known as the Singing Sand Dunes.
- Short hiking and climbing to the Golden sand dunes.

Day 7: Yol Valley (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to Yol valley (Lammergeier’s Gorge).

Day 9: Baga Gazriin Chuluu (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to Baga Gazriin Chuluu, is a picturesque mountain at an elevation of 1,751 meters in the Granite Belt of Mongolia.
- Explore around the area and enjoy hiking along the valley and rocky mountain for 2-3hours.
- Overnight stay.
Day 10: Terelk NP (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and travel to Terelj National Park.
- Enjoy the local landmark Turtle shaped rock.
- Embark on a scenic hike lasting 1-2 hours.

Day 11: Chinggis Khaan – Ulaanbaatar (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast and you will head to the Statue Complex of Chinggis Khaan, situated in Tsonjin Boldog.
- Visit the museum and take a panoramic view from the top deck. Move to the city.
- Shopping for cashmere and souvenirs.
- Farewell dinner.

- After breakfast, check out from and transfer to airport for departure.
