Overview
Malacca City (also spelled Melaka) is the capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in southwestern Malaysia. At its center, Jonker Street, Chinatown’s main thoroughfare, is known for antique shops and its night market. Nearby, the 17th-century Chinese Cheng Hoon Teng temple has ornate decorations and multiple prayer halls. A green, 3-tiered roof tops the 18th-century, Javanese-influenced Kampung Kling Mosque.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Pick up Klang Valley – Malacca
- Pickup at Klang Valley area.
- Proceed to Malacca tour (2h15m). Visit Hang Tuah Center, as its name suggest showcases Hang Tuah’s supremacy.
- Next, visit to St. Peter’s Church (1710) – the oldest Christian Church still in use in Malaysia. Drive past Bukit China or Chinese Hill. Stop at the foothill to view the Princess Hang Li Poh’s Well before driving into the Portuguese Settlement. Proceed to view the famous gateway. ‘Port De Santiago’ and the ruins of St. Paul’s Church lined by 17th century Dutch tombstones. Next on the list is “Red Square” – the salmon pink Dutch administrative buildings which today house the Malacca Museum and government offices. Visit Baba Nyonya Museum and then take a stroll along Malacca’s Jonker Street, which ends by the banks of the Malacca River. Visit to Kampung Morten @ Morten Village is a historical traditional Malay village.
