Kinabalu Park, the World Heritage Site covers an area of 754 sq km was gazette as a park in 1964.The basis for the establishment of a protected area in Kinabalu were formed after a report from the Royal Society Kinabalu Scientific expedition in 1962-1964 led by Prof. Corner. It is the first Park in the Malaysian Borneo’s state of Sabah. Its main feature is Mount Kinabalu (4,095.2 m), the highest mountain between the Himalayas and New Guinea. Its slope is home to a rich assemblage of plants and animal species. It is a hot spot of particularly the plant biodiversity with affinities to flora from the Himalayas, China, Australia, Malay Peninsula, as well as pan-tropical region.

DAY 1 – ARRIVE KOTA KINABALU                                              (D)

Meet and assist upon arrival at KKIA, proceed for a tour of the city with a scenic drive through its capital, Kota Kinabalu City. The city, formerly known as "Singgahmata" or "the Place where the Eye Lingers", has risen from the destruction of the last world war to become a vibrant and modern city that still retains its traditional charms. See many places of interests in the city centre such as the Wisma Tun Mustapha (Sabah Foundation Building), University Malaysia Sabah, Sabah State and City Mosque and the Sabah Museum for the historical and cultural aspects of the indigenous people. Transfer to hotel/resort for check in. Evening, transfer for dinner at a local restaurant enhance with cultural dance. Overnight at city hotel/resort

DAY 2 – JAMBATAN TAMPARULI – KINABALU PARK – PORING HOT SPRING – DESA FAIRY FARM (B/L/D)

0730hr - After breakfast pick-up from hotel lobby for Kinabalu Park/Hot Spring tour - This tour brings you across mountainous Crocker Range with panoramic view of the countryside and soaring hills. Whilst en route to Jambatan Tamparuli, Pekan Nabalu, Kinabalu Park, you can catch the magnificent sight of Mount Kinabalu, Southeast Asia highest peak. The Park is a World Heritage Site with incredible mega biodiversity of flora and fauna, a heaven for nature enthusiasts. On arrival, enjoy a guided nature trek along one of the many trails in the park before proceeding to Poring Hot Springs which offers visitors the opportunity for an invigorating dip into its hot sulphur springs. Depart from Poring to Desa Dairy Farm – located at the foothill of Mt.Kinabalu, at the mesilau plateau, Kundasang, Ranau. Desa Dairy Farm provides good education to understand how fresh milk is being processed from raw to finish product. The best time to visit the farm is around 2.30pm as milking session starting at 3pm every day. You can see all the cows are lining up waiting for milking. Return to Kundasang and journey back to Kota Kinabalu. Evening, transfer for dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at city hotel/resort

  • Rates are Valid from 1st April 2022 – 31st March 2024
  • Rates for CWB: 80%, CNB: 60%.
  • Child age policy: 2- 11 years old, below 2 years old FOC
  • 2 – 14 pax: To add 50% for PVT Basis requirement (all boat transfers are on SIC basis)
  • 15 pax and above: Will be upgraded to PVT Basis at no extra cost (all boat transfers are on SIC basis)

  1. Rates quoted strictly for minimum number of persons as per request above, if less or any reduce no of person the rate will be different.
  2. This is only a quotation. No reservation has been made until we receive your written acceptance of the quotation and deposit to secure the quotation rates.
  3. Price is subject to any surcharge including peak season surcharge / weekend / public holiday surcharge.
  4. Confirmation is subject to availability of both hotels / land transfer arrangements.
  5. Deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation and final payment to be paid in full one month before arrival.
  6. Change of travel date is allowed and must be made 2 weeks prior to check-in date and is subject to room availability.
  7. Cancellation procedure:
  8. Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time by written notice by the person who made the booking.
  9. Please note the following:

If notice of cancellation is received by Star Travel more than 30 days prior to the guided holiday departure date, 20% will be retained along for Star Travel’s Cancellation Fee Waiver payment.

  1. If full payment is not received one month prior to arrival date, Star Travel has the right to cancel your reservation. Star Travel will not be responsible for lost reservations.
  2. If a person in a party cancels and there is a room change caused by this cancellation (such as Twin to Single), charges for the new room type will be the responsibility of the remaining party.
