Overview
This 3-day tour takes you through the scenic beauty and cultural landmarks of North Sumatra, starting in Medan and venturing to Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake in the world. After arrival, you’ll explore the picturesque areas around the lake, with stops at Sidamanik Tea Plantation and a visit to local shops for traditional snacks. The journey continues with a tour of Samosir Island, where you’ll explore Tomok Village and the Batak Kings Tomb, before heading to the highlands of Berastagi, where you can enjoy stunning views of Lake Toba from the Sipiso-Piso waterfall.
On the final day, the tour travels back to Medan with visits to local markets and cultural landmarks, including the Shwedagon Pagoda replica and several historical temples and mosques. The tour concludes with shopping opportunities at local malls before heading to the airport, offering a perfect blend of natural wonders, cultural heritage, and local experiences.

Day 1: Arrival Medan – Parapat (Lunch/Dinner)
- Upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative/tour guide.
- Start the journey to Lake Toba, the biggest volcano lake in the world.
- Lunch in a local restaurant.
- Proceed to lake Toba, en route stop at Patent Shop to buy local food such as Ting-ting, Teng-teng, etc.
- Visit Sidamanik Tea Plantation.
- Dinner at local restaurant.
- Free program and overnight stay in Parapat.
Day 2: Samosir Island tour – Parapat – Berastagi (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and commence the Samosir Island Tour.
- Visit Tomok Village to witness the ancient Batak Kings Tomb, The kings of Sidabutar.
- After visiting Tomok Village, continue the tour to Ambarita village (Only for groups 11 persons above) to explore the Batak Village, famous stone chair, and the execution place of King Sialagan.
- Return to Parapat and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
- Proceed to Berastagi Highland.
- Visit the Sipiso-Piso waterfall to admire the view of Lake Toba from the northern side.
- Check-in at the hotel and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
- Free program to explore and experience the nightlife in Berastagi.
Day 3: Berastagi – Medan – Airport (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, depart from the hotel and head back to Medan.
- En route, visit Pasar Buah (Fruit Market) to buy some special local fruit, vegetables, etc, Shwedagon Pagoda Replica at Taman Lumbini
- Upon arrival in Medan, visit Al-Mahsun Grand Mosque/ Annai Velangkani Church/ Sri Mariamman Temple/ Maitreya Temple, Maimoon Palace, shopping at Kedai Kain, Pasar Ikan, Medan Mall/Sun Plaza.
- Transfer to the airport for your onward journey, marking the end of the tour.
