3D2N MEDAN LAKE TOBA TOUR (01N LAKE TOBA – 01N MEDAN)
Overview
This 3-day tour takes you through the highlights of Medan, Lake Toba, and Samosir Island in North Sumatra. On Day 1, you’ll arrive in Medan and journey to Lake Toba, the world’s largest volcanic lake. Along the way, you’ll stop at local shops and the Sidamanik Tea Plantation before reaching Parapat for the evening. On Day 2, the tour explores Samosir Island, visiting the ancient Batak Kings Tomb in Tomok Village and the historical Ambarita Village, before returning to Medan for a city tour of key landmarks like the Al-Mahsun Grand Mosque and Maimoon Palace. The day ends with shopping and a local dinner.
On the final day, after breakfast, you’ll check out from your hotel in Medan and head to the airport for your departure. The tour provides a mix of cultural, historical, and scenic experiences, showcasing the unique charm of North Sumatra.

Day 1: Arrival Medan – Parapat (Lunch/Dinner)
- Upon arrival at Kuala Namu International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative/tour guide.
- Start the journey to Lake Toba, the biggest volcano lake in the world.
- Lunch in a local restaurant.
- Proceed to lake Toba, en route stop at Patent Shop to buy local food such as Ting-ting, Teng-teng, etc.
- Visit Sidamanik Tea Plantation.
- Dinner at local restaurant.
- Free program and overnight stay in Parapat.
Day 2: Samosir Island tour – Parapat – Medan (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and start the Samosir Island tour visit.
- Visit Tomok Village to see the ancient Batak Kings Tomb, The Kings of Sidabutar.
- Continue to visit Ambarita village (Only for groups 11 persons above),to see the Batak Village and the famous stone chair, and the execution place of King Sialagan.
- Then, back to Parapat and had lunch at a local restaurant.
- After lunch, proceed back to Medan.
- Arrive in Medan, then Medan City tour / Shopping Tour visit: Al-Mahsun Grand Mosque/ Annai Velangkani Church/ Sri Mariamman Temple/ Maitreya Temple, Maimoon Palace, shopping at Kedai Kain, Pasar Ikan, Medan Mall/Sun Plaza.
- Dinner at a local restaurant, after dinner, check in to hotel Medan.
- Free at own leisure and overnight stay in Medan.
Day 3: Medan – Departure (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, check out from hotel.
- Transfer to the airport for your onward journey, marking the end of the tour.
