Overview
This 4-day tour begins in Hanoi, where you will explore the city’s rich history and vibrant culture. Highlights include visits to iconic landmarks such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One-Pillar Pagoda, and the Hanoi Old Quarter. You’ll also sample local Vietnamese delights like Pho, Banh Mi, and Egg Coffee, before enjoying free time for shopping and exploring local markets. In the evening, you’ll savor a traditional Vietnamese dinner at a local restaurant.
On Day 2, the journey continues with a scenic drive to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise aboard the La Casta Cruise. Experience the breathtaking beauty of Lan Ha Bay, with activities like kayaking, swimming, and sightseeing, along with a cooking demonstration and a seafood dinner on board. After an early morning Tai Chi session and a visit to Dark & Bright Cave, you’ll return to Hanoi on Day 3. The tour concludes with some free time in Hanoi before your departure on Day 4. Itinerary
Day 1: Arriving Hanoi – City Tour (overnight in Hanoi) (Lunch/Dinner)
- Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, transfer to the city and check in hotel (from 2:00pm onwards)
- Proceed to city tour to Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ba Dinh Square, President’s Palace, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One-pillar pagoda, Hanoi Old City Gate, Phung Hung Street (Trainline Street), Hoan Kiem Lake, The Huc Bridge, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Hanoi Opera House, and Hanoi Old Quarter.
- En-route, will have lunch with sample Hanoi delights at local eating outlets, like Pho (Vietnam noodle with beef or chicken broth), Banh Mi (Vietnamese Baguette), and Egg Coffee (Hanoi style coffee)
- Enjoy free time for shopping activities at local market.
- Gather at agreed schedule and venue for dinner and enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine Cha Ca Grilled Fish at local restaurant.
- Transfer back to hotel.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (overnight on board of cruise) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Driver meets guests at the hotel lobby around 08:30 – 08:45am, then transfer from Hanoi to Tuan Chau Harbour via Hai Phong’s new expressway. (approx. 150km, 2.5 hours)
- Arrive at La Casta Cruise check in lounge.
- Enjoy coffee and tea.
- 11:30 – 12:00 transfer to the main boat via high-speed tender (25 minutes)
- Welcome drink and briefing about La Casta Cruise and safety guidelines.
- 13:00 lunch in the restaurant as La Casta Cruise starts the voyage in Lan Ha Bay.
- 15:45 visit Ba Trai Dao area and the natural lagoon of Lan Ha Bay (if unfavourable weather, visit Light Cave and can join activities such as kayaking swimming and sightseeing)
- 17:30 – 18:30 Return to La Casta Cruise and enjoy pre-dinner sunset party with happy hour promotion (buy 2 get 1 free with some kinds of drinks)
- 18:00 Join a cooking demonstration and learn to make Vietnamese dishes.
- 19:30 Enjoy special seafood and typical Vietnamese food on the cruise.

Day 3: Dark & Bright Cave – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (overnight in Hanoi) (Breakfast/Lunch)
- 06:15 Wake up early for Tai Chi session on sundeck and enjoy fresh atmosphere and sunrise in La Han Bay.
- 7:00 – 07:45 Have a breakfast with a view of the bay.
- 08:00 Take a stunning view of the bay and limestone islets.
- Visit Tra Bau for kayaking, swimming, and exploration.
- 09:00 Return to cabin, relax, and check luggage before leaving.
- 09:30 Check out and enjoy a cruise on the bay for room service.
