Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Kuching – Kuching City Tour
- Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, meet and greet by our personnel then transfer to your choice of accommodation (early check-in is subject to availability).
- Afternoon, proceed to Kuching City Tour. Kuching is the capital city of Sarawak. Experience the beauty of a multi-racial community and see places of interest and the essential part of Kuching includes the building of the White Rajahs: Colonial Court House, Clock Tower, Charles Brooke Memorial, Square Tower, bustling Chinatown and Chinese Temple.
- Enjoy scenic views of Sarawak State Legislative Building, The Astana, Fort Margherita and the Malay Village across the river from the Kuching Waterfront.
- Visit the Main Bazaar, the oldest street in the city and the heart of old Kuching. After tour complete, back to hotel.
Day 2 Semenggoh Wildlife Centre – Lemanak Iban Longhouse (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- 0800hrs Meet at hotel lobby.
- Visit to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre.
- Walk through the jungle trail and look out for semi-wild Orang Utan in their natural habitat-an amazing experience to meet wild man of Borneo!
- Then resume tour to Lemanak Iban Longhouse.
- The Iban longhouse can be reached by coach in about 4 hours and native longboat to go upstream for an hour.
- The journey passing through countryside scenery, paddy field, rubber plantation, cocoa garden, pepper orchards, lush secondary and virgin jungles.
- Lunch at small town and finally arriving the river jetty.
- Later afternoon reach to Iban longhouse. Visit to the longhouse and surrounding area.
- Evening, enjoy yourself with the evening entertainments.
- The natives will welcome you with their traditional welcome dance ‘ngajat’ in full ceremonial regalia.
- Don’t miss rice wine drinking session ‘tuak’ before retiring for the night.
- Overnight at the Iban longhouse.
(sharing basis consists of individual mattress, pillow, blanket and mosquito net)
Day 3 Lemanak Iban Longhouse – Kuching City (Breakfast/Lunch)
- After breakfast, witness blowpipe demonstration.
- Proceed for jungle walk passing through rubber, secondary forest and Iban burial ground before ferrying down river to jetty.
- Then, return journey to Kuching via the same way.
- Lunch en-route.
- Transfer to city hotel for check in.
- Overnight at city hotel.
Day 4 Departure (Breakfast)

- Rates quoted strictly for minimum number of persons as per request above, if less or any reduce no of person the rate will be different.
- This is only a quotation. No reservation has been made until we receive your written acceptance of the quotation and deposit to secure the quotation rates.
- Price is subject to any surcharge including peak season surcharge / weekend / public holiday surcharge.
- Confirmation is subject to availability of both hotels / land transfer arrangements.
- Deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation and final payment to be paid in full one month before arrival.
- Change of travel date is allowed and must be made 2 weeks prior to check-in date and is subject to room availability.
- Cancellation procedure:
- Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time by written notice by the person who made the booking.
- Please note the following:
- If full payment is not received one month prior to arrival date, Star Travel has the right to cancel your reservation. Star Travel will not be responsible for lost reservations.
- If a person in a party cancels and there is a room change caused by this cancellation (such as Twin to Single), charges for the new room type will be the responsibility of the remaining party.
