Overview
This 5-day itinerary begins with your arrival at Colombo International Airport and a scenic drive to Kandy, where you’ll visit the Spice Garden, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, and enjoy the Kandy Cultural Show. The next day, travel to Nuwara Eliya, visiting Ramboda Falls, the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, and a tea factory to learn about tea cultivation. After exploring the city, you’ll relax at your hotel before heading to Kataragama on day three, with stops at Seetha Amman Temple and Ravana Ella Cave, concluding with a visit to Murugan Temple.
On day four, you’ll journey to Colombo, stopping for a safari in Yala, a visit to Galle Fort, and a stop at the Turtle Hatchery. The final day includes a visit to Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple, a city tour of Colombo, and shopping before heading to the airport. This itinerary offers a rich blend of cultural experiences, scenic landscapes, and historical exploration, providing a well-rounded view of Sri Lanka’s natural and cultural treasures.

Day 1: Arrival Kandy (Dinner)
- Arrival Colombo International Airport.
- Meet with our representative and transfer to Kandy.
- En route visit the Spice Garden and The Temple of the Sacred Tooth.
- Experience the Kandy Cultural Show.
- Check into the hotel and relax.
- Dinner at hotel.
Day 2: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Proceed to Nuwara Eliya and en route visit the Ramboda Falls.
- Visit Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple.
- Once in the tea factory, learn about how tea is cultivated, then visit the factory where ancient machines pre-dating the industrial revolution wither, roll and dry the tea.
- Next proceed to the city view of Nuwara Eliya.
- Check into hotel and relax.
- Dinner at hotel.
Day 3: Nuwara Eliya – Kataragama (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Proceed to Kataragama and en route visit Seetha Amman Temple.
- Then proceed to visit Ravana Ella Cave.
- After that, head to Murugan Temple (the annual procession held in July or August is the main event of the shrine with the fire walkers and Kawadi dancers.
- On completion, check into the hotel and relax.
- Dinner at hotel.
Day 4: Kataragama – Galle – Colombo (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Proceed to Colombo via Galle.
- En route Experience a Safari Ride in Yala of your own choice.
- Explore Galle Fort.
- On completion proceed to Colombo.
- En route, witness some beautiful Turtles at the Turtle Hatchery.
- On arrival, check in hotel and relax.
- Dinner at hotel.
Day 5: Colombo – Airport (Breakfast/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Visit Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple.
- Then proceed to explore the city of Colombo.
- Evening, shopping in Colombo.
- Have a dinner at a restaurant and proceed to airport for departure.
