5D4N THERMAL DISCOVERY TOUR (SEAT IN COACH – SIC)

Upon arriving in Auckland, you will be met and privately transferred to your accommodation for a relaxing evening. Auckland offers a variety of optional activities such as visiting the Sky Tower, a sailing adventure on the harbour, or an Auckland Harbour dinner cruise.

On the second day, depart Auckland on a fully guided tour through the picturesque Waikato countryside to the Waitomo Caves. You’ll explore the ancient glowworm caves with a guided tour, where the glowworms illuminate the underground formations. The journey continues to Rotorua, a geothermal wonderland, where you will spend the night. For those seeking relaxation, the Polynesian Spa Deluxe Lake Spa is available as an optional activity.

In Rotorua, you’ll explore the highlights, including Rotorua Lakefront and Sulphur Point. A visit to the geothermal Kuirau Park and a venture into Ohinemutu, a living Maori village, are also part of the day’s experiences. You can also enjoy a peaceful walk through the Redwood Forest at your own pace before returning to your accommodation for another overnight stay in Rotorua. The Te Ra/Te Po Combo is available as an optional activity, offering a guided tour followed by an evening cultural experience.

The following day, you’ll leave Rotorua for a guided tour of the iconic Hobbiton Movie Set. Your guide will lead you through the picturesque film set, finishing with a visit to the Green Dragon Inn for a refreshing beverage and a delicious lunch at the Party Marquee. After the tour, you’ll return to Auckland for an overnight stay. Optional activities in Auckland include the Weta Workshop Unleashed tour.

On the final day, you’ll be transferred to Auckland Airport for your departure, marking the end of your thermal discovery adventure.
