Day 1 Arrive Kilimanjaro (Dinner) 

• Meet and greet upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). 

• Pick up and transfer to Karatu Hotel. 

• Check in, freshen up and prepare for dinner. 

• Overnight stay in Karatu. 

 

Day 2 Serengeti (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) 

• Breakfast. 

• Drive to Serengeti National Park. 

• En-route to Serengeti. 

• Visit Masaai Village or visit Olduvai Gorge. 

• Enjoy a game and drive en route to your lodge. 

• Dinner. 

• Overnight in Serengeti.

Day 3 Serengeti – Ndutu Serengeti Side (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) 

• Relax with a full day in the endless plain of Serengeti. 

• There are a couple of options regarding how your day is structured in the Serengeti. 

 

Option 1: 

Start your day with an early morning balloon excursion followed with picnic breakfast at the end 

 

Option 2: 

Break camp early and head out with a picnic breakfast on a morning game drive, returning to camp in time for lunch. 

 

• Alternatively, you can eat breakfast in camp and head out with picnic lunch on afternoon game drive, returning in the mid-afternoon. In the evening transfer back to lodge for dinner and overnight stay. 

 

Day 4 Serengeti – Ndutu in Ngorongoro (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) 

• Enjoy a full day game drive in the Ndutu area (Western corridor of the Ngorongoro conservation area). 

• Explore the range of different habitats. 

• Overnight Ndutu-Ngorongoro conservation side. 

 

Highlights: 

. Best time of the year to witness this extraordinary spectacle is when the herds find themselves on the vast open plains of the southern Serengeti and Ndutu plains. Over 8000 claves are born per year. 

. Best time of the year with the best predator action.  

 

Day 5 Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) 

• After early breakfast, pack your bags. 

• Depart to Ngorongoro Crater. 

• A number of lions, which are typically larger in size than an average lion due to the large amount of game in the area. 

• Enjoy the spectacular scenery and game viewing. 

• Afternoon, drive to your lodge for overnight.  

 

Highlights: 

. A natural wonder of the world and is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. 

. The crater is packed with wildlife, including the big 5. 

. Best place to see black rhino in Tanzania as well as prides of lion that include black-mane males. 

. Flamingos and a variety of other water birds around the soda lake on the crater floor. 

 

 

 

 

Day 6 Departure (Breakfast) 

• After breakfast, depart to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for departure.

Tanzania Travel Requirements: 

• Single entry visa costs US 50 per person. Can either process your visa on arrival, or online through https://eservices.immigration.go.tz/ . You will receive a notification via email once the payment is made. In case there is a lag time on receiving the Visa, the Pain invoice can be produced at Immigration on arrival and it will get approved there and then. 

• Traveler passport copy must be valid 6 months prior to the date of arrival with at least two blank pages. 

• A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travelers aged 1 year or over arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission.
