Day 1 Arrive in Paro – Thimphu (55kms / 1 ½ hrs. drive)

• Arrive in Paro.
• Meet with our representative.
• Driver to Thimphu.
• Stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Thimphu and Paro rivers.
• Pass by Tachogang Lhakang – the temple of the excellent horse.
• Arrive in Thimphu.
• Check in hotel.
• Explore an exploratory walk around Thimphu Main Street and market area.
• Visit the Local Craft Bazaar.
• Overnight at hotel in Thimphu (altitude 2400m).

Day 2 Thimphu

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Visit Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang).
• Commence the “Buddha Nature Train” from Buddha point to Changangkha Lhakang (02 hours easy hike).
• Visit the Changangkha Lhakang – a fortress like temple and monastic school perched on a ridge above Thimpu.
• After lunch, short drive (15km) to Pangri Zampa – the oldest monasteries in Bhutan.
• Visit Bhutan Post Office – launched on 10^th October 1962.
• Visit Traditional Paper-making factory.
• Visit Tashichoo Dzong – impressive fortress/monastery houses Secretariat building, the throne room of His Majesty, the King and various government offices.
• Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3 Thimphu – Punakha (75kms/03hrs drive)

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Drive to Punakha across Dochula pass (3080m).
• Proceed for the walking excursion to Chimi Lhakang – about 15 minutes’ drive from hotel and then walk start through paddy field and villages (total 1 ½ hrs walk including both way).
• Check in hotel.
• Visit Punakha Dzong – a massive structure built at the junction of two rivers.
• Evening, spent exploring Punakha village.
• Overnight at hotel in Punakha.

Day 4 Punakha – Paro (120kms/4 ½ hrs. drive approx.)

• After breakfast at hotel.
• Check out and drive to Paro.
• Arrive in Paro.
• Check in hotel.
• After lunch, proceed to visit Ta Dzong – originally built as watchtower, now houses National Museum.
• Followed by a short walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong (ParoDzong).
• Overnight hotel in Paro.

Day 5 Paro

• Breakfast at hotel.
• Excursion to Taktsang Monastery or Tiger’s Next (approx. 5 hours walk).
• Rest of the day is at leisure.
• Overnight at the hotel in Paro.

Day 6 Departure

• Early breakfast at hotel.
• Drive to the airport.
• Departure.

Quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) and subject to exchange rate fluctuations.

• Deposit

A deposit of fifty percent of the tour package price per person is required when booking is made. Balance payment must be made 45 days prior to departure.

• Reservations

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. Peak season surcharge may apply.

• Visa Applications

Tourist visa is required for Malaysian passport to Bhutan.

The company acts only as an agent and does not operate any suppliers of services. The company will not be responsible or liable for weather, acts of God strikes, compulsory quarantine or other services beyond its control.
