Your journey begins with an arrival in Sri Lanka, where you’ll settle in Negombo or Katunayake for a restful evening. The next day, head to Dambulla, where you’ll explore the historic Dambulla Cave Temple, adorned with centuries-old murals and statues. Experience the splendor of Sigiriya Rock Fortress with an optional climb, providing sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, and spend the night in Dambulla or Sigiriya.
From there, make your way to Kandy, stopping en route at a Spice Garden in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka’s spice heritage. In Kandy, explore the Upper Lake Drive, Market Craft Centre, and Gem Museum before visiting the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, an important Buddhist site. Then, journey to the cool highlands of Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England,” where you’ll visit a tea plantation and the scenic Lake Gregory, with an optional boat ride for an up-close experience of the serene waters.
Your adventure continues in Yala, famous for its diverse wildlife. After settling in, embark on an optional jeep safari through Yala National Park, where you might encounter elephants, leopards, and a variety of bird species. Next, head toward the South Beaches, stopping along the way to witness the unique tradition of stilt fishing and visit the Marine Turtle Conservation in Kosgoda. In Galle, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Galle Fort, rich with colonial architecture and seaside charm.
Complete your journey in Colombo, driving through its bustling commercial districts, scenic Cinnamon Gardens, and historic forts. Enjoy last-minute shopping in top spots like ODEL, Arcade Independence Square, and the lively Pettah market. Day 1 Arrival – Negombo – Wattala (Dinner)
- Arrived in Bandaranaike International Airport and meet with our representative.
- Transfer to Negombo and check in hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Pegasus Reef or similar.
Day 2 Negombo – Kataragama (breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Yala.
- Venture into the Yala National Park on a game drive in a 4 x 4 vehicle to see the famous sights of the animals (excursion duration approx. 3hrs)
- Check in hotel, dinner and overnight stay at Chaarya Resort & Spa or similar.
Day 3 Kataragama – Galle (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Galle.
- En route to visit the Stilt Fisherman in Weligama for a photo stop and the famous Galle World Heritage Site.
- Procced City tour of Galle.
- Lunch at local restaurant.
- Transfer to hotel for check in, dinner and overnight stay at South Lake Resort or similar.
Day 4 Galle (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel.
- Visit Rumassala Temple and Jungle Beach, Unawatuna.

- Relaxing at hotel or exploring the city on your own.

Day 5 Galle – Bentota (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Bentota.
- Boat Ride at Madu River among the Mangroves and Experience a Mangrove Fruit Drink.
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- Visiting the Turtle Hatchery and Water Sports in Bentota (Optional with Additional Charges)
- Check in hotel, dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Palms Beruwala or similar.
Day 6 Bentota – Colombo (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Colombo.
- Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area where there is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, the Kaymans Gate with the Belfry at the original gate to enter the Fort, the Dutch Church of Wolfendhaal dating back to 1749, Davatagaha Mosque, Colombo Museum and the Natural History Museum are some of the sites to be visited.
- Also visit the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall), see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. (Excursion Duration – Approx. 02 – 03 hrs).
- On the return make a stop at the Lotus Tower to take pictures of the newest addition to Sri Lanka.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Fairway Colombo or similar.
Day 7 Colombo – Departure (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, transfer to airport for departure.
