This 7-day tour takes you through the scenic beauty and cultural wonders of Kerala, starting with your arrival in Cochin. You will explore the city briefly before heading to Munnar, where you’ll visit lush tea plantations, waterfalls, and the Eravikulam National Park. After a day of sightseeing in Munnar, enjoy a scenic drive to Kumarakom for an overnight houseboat cruise on the backwaters, followed by a trip to the beach town of Kovalam. Relax on the beaches and enjoy leisure activities before visiting the vibrant city of Thiruvananthapuram, where you will explore the famous Padmanabhaswamy temple.
Throughout this journey, you will experience Kerala’s rich natural beauty, from hill stations to backwaters and beaches, and its unique cultural heritage. Itinerary
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Cochin
- Upon your arrival at Cochin International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative.
- Check in and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Cochin – Munnar (Breakfast)
- After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to Munnar.
- En route, marvel at the breathtaking Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls and lush green tea plantations.
- On arrival at Munnar, check in.
- After 2pm, visit Eravikulam National Park, one of the main tourist attractions, where you can sometimes find the endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr.
- Later, visit the Tea Museum that showcase some of the exquisite of tea plantations in Kerala.
- We head towards Munnar town, a beautiful hill station, which was the summer resort of the British.
- Take a stroll around town and shop.
- After sightseeing, proceed to hotel for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Munnar (Breakfast)
- After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive around Old Munnar town, where you’ll find the tourist information office, bus station, and many guesthouses.
- Next, we visit the Matupetty Dam and Reservoir. Further up from the dam is Echo Point. Tourists are expected to scream in the valley to hear your echo.
- Packed lunch will be served.
- Proceed to the Blossom International Park – beautiful gardens with rare varieties of plants and flowers, shady trees, facilities for water cycling, boating cycling for kids, roller skating etc. awaits you (optional tour).
- Late evening, return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Munnar – Kumarakom Houseboat (Breakfast)
- Following breakfast at the hotel, proceed to check out and embark on a scenic drive to Kumarakom.
- Upon arrival, prepare for an enchanting overnight backwater cruise aboard traditionally decorated houseboat.
- Check-in time for the houseboat is at 13:00 hrs, and the cruise commences with a delightful lunch served onboard.
- Food will be served on board.
- Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 5: Kumarakom Houseboat – Kovalam (Breakfast)
- After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Kovalam.
- Upon arrival, check in to your chosen resort or hotel in Kovalam.
- Spend the day in the beaches of Kovalam.
- overnight stay at the resort or hotel.
Day 6: Kovalam (Breakfast)
- Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel.
- Free time for leisure & shopping.
- Spend the day at the beach of Kovalam.
- Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 7: Kovalam – Thiruvananthapuram (Breakfast)
- After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, embark on a sightseeing tour to Trivandrum.
- Proceed to Padmanabhaswamy temple, renowned for its towering gopuras (meaning large pyramidal tower over the entrance gate to a temple) and temples arts and paintings.
- After checking out at hotel, transfer to Thiruvananthapuram Airport
