Overview
This 7-day New Zealand itinerary begins in Auckland, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the city and visit iconic landmarks such as the Sky Tower or take a harbor dinner cruise. The tour then takes you to Hobbiton, followed by Rotorua, where you will experience Maori culture with a guided tour and a traditional Hangi dinner. After Rotorua, the journey continues to Queenstown, where you’ll embark on a scenic Milford Sound cruise and enjoy the stunning landscapes of the South Island.
The adventure continues with a visit to the magnificent Mt. Cook, before traveling through the picturesque Mackenzie District and arriving in Christchurch. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of turquoise lakes and rugged mountains, with optional activities like the Skyline Gondola in Queenstown and a visit to the Antarctic Centre in Christchurch. The trip concludes with your departure from Christchurch, leaving you with unforgettable memories of New Zealand’s natural beauty and rich cultural experiences.

Day 1: Arrive Auckland
- On arrival, met and privately transferred to your accommodation.
Day 2: Auckland – Hobbiton – Rotorua
- Morning, coach tour takes you to Hobbiton Movie Set (must see destinations)
- After exploring Hobbiton, lunch at The Green Dragon Inn before continuing to Rotorua.
- Overnight in Rotorua.
Day 3: Rotorua
- Afternoon, transfer to Te Puia for guided tour through the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, the Kiwi Conservation Centre and the geothermal valley.
- Then enjoy a Hangi Dinner overlooking the valley and geyser, followed by 40-minute cultural performance.
- The evening culminates with hot chocolate and pudding on the geyser terrace.
- Overnight in Rotorua.
Day 4: Rotorua – Queenstown (Flight not included)
- Depart on your domestic flight to Queenstown (airfare not included)
- Overnight in Queenstown
Day 5: Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown
- Today tour takes you past mirror lakes and waterfalls into Milford Sound.
- On arrival, board your vessel for a cruise of the fiord surrounded by towering mountains and cliffs.
- After a big day out, return to downtown Queenstown.
- Lunch is included.
- Overnight in Queenstown.
Day 6: Queenstown – Mt Cook – Christchurch
- Departs Queenstown through the stunning Kawarau Gorge and fruit and wine growing region of Cromwell.
- Travel the vast plains of the Mackenzie district, alongside turquoise blue lakes, framed by Aoraki Mt Cook where you have some free time.
- Make a stop at Church of the Good Shepherd before continuing to Christchurch.
- Overnight in Christchurch.
Day 7: Depart Christchurch
- Transfer to Christchurch airport.
- Departure.
