Overview
This 9-day tour of Egypt takes you on a journey through the country’s most iconic historical and cultural landmarks. Starting in Cairo, you’ll explore the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, and the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Afterward, you’ll travel to Aswan for a visit to the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and a relaxing Nile Cruise, with stops at the temples of Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Luxor. Along the way, you’ll have the option to visit the magnificent Abu Simbel temples, experience a horse carriage ride to Edfu Temple, and enjoy scenic views of the Nile.
The tour continues with visits to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Karnak, and the Temple of Luxor in Luxor, before heading to Alexandria to explore Montazah Gardens, Pompey’s Pillar, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch. The journey concludes with a return to Cairo for your departure. Day 1: Arrival Cairo (Dinner)
- Upon arrival at airprot, meet with our local representative and transfer to hotel for check in and overnight.
- Dinner will be provided at local restaurant.
Day 2: Cairo (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, transfer to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, which cast its enigmatic gaze across the sands of the desert.
- Continue to visit the Egyptian Museum & end a totally wonderful day at Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
- Dinner and back to hotel.
Day 3: (Friday) Cairo – Aswan – Nile Cruise (Domestic flight not included) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast, and transfer to airport for flight to Aswan.
- Arrive Aswan for sightseeing of the High Dam.
- From the top, you can gaze across Nasser Lake the huge reservoir created when the High Dam was built, the Unfinished Obelisk & also try on a distinctive sail of felucca’s silhouetted against the setting sun.
- Embark on board Nile cruises for overnight stay.
Day 4: Aswan – Abu Simble – Kom Ombo – Nile Cruise (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast, today is a lifetime opportunity for OPTIONAL TRIP to visit the Temple of Abu Simbel.
- Return to the cruise and continue our tranquil cruise along the Nile arriving at Kom-Ombo.
- Visit the roofless Temple of Kom-Ombo, which was dedicated to the falcon and crocodile god.
- Then, back to the cruise and relax on the deck of our boat as it glides by primitive villages on our cruise to Edfu.
- Tea and coffee will be served in the early evening.
Day 5: Edfu – Esna – Luxor – Nile Cruise (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- Breakfast, proceed to visit Temple of Edfu.
- Experience a ride on horse carriage from the dock to the entrance of Edfu Temple.
- Back to the Nile Cruise and continue sailing to Luxor via Esna lock.
- Tea and coffee will be served in the early evening.
Day 6: (Monday) Luxor – Cairo (Domestic flight not included) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, proceed to the Valley of the Kings, where 64 of Egypt’s Pharaohs had their palatial resting places hewed into the sheer rock.
- Continue to visit Temple of Luxor, dedicated to Amon famous for its huge pylons built by Ramses II.
- See the Temple of Karnak, a holy city of pylon, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines and obelisk.
- Next, transfer to the Airport for flight back to Cairo.
- Arrive & transfer to the hotel for overnight.
Day 7: Cairo – Alexandria – Cairo (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
- After breakfast, travel to Alexandria by coach.
- Upon arrival, visit Montazah Gardens and view King Farouk’s Palace.
- Then, visit Pompey’s Pillar, an approximately 25m red granite column with a circumference of 9m was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian.
- Enjoy the freshness of fish cuisine for lunch.
- Return to Cairo.
- Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Cairo – Departure (Breakfast)
- Bid farewell to this unforgettable country as we transfer you to the airport for your return flight home.
Day 9: Arrive Kuala Lumpur
- Arrive with amazing memories of Egypt.
